Mission & Vision
Mission
DIAR is a space for academic and interdisciplinary study and debate on legal, moral, ethical, political and regulatory issues associated with the use and development of artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics, with special attention to an analytical approach from International Law and the Philosophy of Law.
Its method of action is the promotion of own contributions through original reflection, research, writing and publications, often in collaboration with centers, observatories and other entities (public and private) of similar ideas throughout the world.
Vision
DIAR seeks to be an open platform of thought in which interdisciplinary, critical, prospective and high-level academic research is promoted on the development of possible guidelines, standards and solutions to legal, political, philosophical and regulatory problems associated with development, innovation and the application of computer science in different areas of global society.
